Description
Use the AGL Special Transit to lower setup time plus improve the accuracy of alignment. The AGL Special Transit has two unique design features that make it superior to standard optical instruments:
* Tilt-Block Design – Allows the AGL Special Transit line-of-sight (vertical cross-hair) to be quickly and accurately positioned on the desired line of travel for the laser. (Eliminates crossing error found with conventional transits.)
* Plunge-to-GradeLight 2500 – Allows the operator to quickly and visually, find and adjust the transit crosshair to the green LED centerline of the GradeLight 2500™. (Standard optical alignment requires the use of optical plummets or swaying plumb bobs.
Set the Special Transit roughly on the line over the GradeLight 2500™ using either the Rod & Cross Brace or the Manhole Clamp.
